Is local IBM and Microsoft news dead?
I'm sitting here at the moment reading the headlines from the current edition of the New York Times, here in Australia as it just arrived in my inbox. The world news section seems to marry what was on our local news, the only thing missing was any news about Tony Blair. But I'm living in Australia so that part doesn't worry me too much.
It just struck me how small this world of ours is, at least for those on the internet.
Reading the Technology section "Microsoft to Invest in CareerBuilder Web Site" thus using more energy, with IBM following "I.B.M. Effort to Focus on Saving Energy". Reading between the lines IBM is making corporations more efficient through their hardware so that they can afford more Microsoft software. Don't think this news is any different anywhere else in the world?
